Experience and enjoy Nafplio by renting a bike.

Biking is the best way to move around in the city and visit nearby cultural and recreational sites. There are rental shops situated in the city center, whilst you have the opportunity to rent one from the mayor’s office.

Join our chauffeur to a tour around the historic landmarks, monuments and archeological sites of Argolida. The tour includes visitations to the UNESCO monuments of Epidaurus, Mycenae and Tyrins.

 

City Tour.

If you are interested in exploring the city, while having a guide (recorded) providing you with essential information regarding the history of Nafplio and its landmarks, then you have two options to consider from. You can either aboard a wheel train (every 20 minutes) which is advisable if you are accompanied by small children who will find the experience both entertaining and educational, or take one of the open busses touring the town.

 

One Day Cruises to nearby Islands and other areas in the Peloponnese. From March to October you can visit the Saronic gulf islands of Spetses and Hydra, or you can take the tour to the Medieval Castlecity of Monemvasia.

 

For History Buffs

From Nafplio you can visit by car or bus the world heritage cultural sites of Tyrins (7km), Mykines (20 km) and Epidaurus ancient theatre and museum (25 km).

 

For Sports Lovers.

 

Ascend and descend Palamidi. For the adventurous ones, the 999 steps to Palamidi fortress challenge you to a showdown.

 

Kite surfing. At the nearby beach of Nea Kios (7 km) a kite surf school offers lessons and apparel for rookies or experienced to the sport.

 

The coastal trail. You can mountain bike, hike, jog, or take a leisurely stroll, from the beach of Arvanitia to Karathona beach and back (5 km) by the coastal trail, under Akronafplia with a magnificent view at the foot of Palamidi hill. Don’t forget to take you bathing suits with you. Secluded bays on route are ideal and inviting for a dip to cool you off.
